We've received many requests to offer an all inclusive bushing kit for the first generation Audi TT and we are finally making it so! The cars have attained collector's status and we want to help you get the shifter working better than new. The Deluxe kit includes the four products all Mk1 TT's need: the First Gear Getter, the Cable Saver, the Super Slider and the precision 5mm shifter alignment pin. The linked product pages contain many YouTube videos to help you install the bushings with the least amount of time and hassle. If you already have or are going to get the Sigma Short Shift kit you will not need the Super Slider and so you can opt out of getting one with the dropdown menu to the right. The bushing kit price will be lower without it.

This kit only works with the 1999-2006 Audi TT. 

US shipping: Get free FedEx 2nd day shipping when you order this kit with the Super Slider! (You can also get free FedEx shipping if you order the more basic kit with a Sigma Short Shift kit.) We offer and highly recommend FedEx 2nd Day Flat Rate shipping on this item alone if you are in any sort of hurry to get it. (Slower US Postal Service shipping is also available.) We ship Monday through Friday from Colorado except on holidays.   

International shipping:  USPS shipping is currently suspended due to their system backlogs. In these uncertain times we recommend the slightly more expensive but much faster FedEx International Connect Plus service. Taxes on most orders shipped outside of the USA are collected at checkout and shipped Duty-Paid for a smooth delivery process. If no taxes are charged at checkout, FedEx will likely collect local taxes upon delivery. Also, for Canada, the new USMCA trade agreement will reduce taxes and duties on this item.

Shipment to South Africa - Audi TT - 1st gear getter

We could not find the part in ZA. I sent a video to Diesel Geek and the reply was that I needed the Audi TT kit to repair the 1st gear. I purchased the kit and it was shipped with FedEx and arrived in about 7 days. It was installed and the first gear is now working 💯. Thank you for the assistance and speedy shipping. Worked like a dream.

First up, the shipping speed was only 2 days to the UK. That was mighty impressive!
Secondly, the kit really is as good as the reviews and online content would have you believe. I now have all 6 (plus reverse) gears and they are nice and snappy on my new to me 2001 TT.
Heres a top tip for anyone changing all the bushes:
The first gear getter, I started the installation gently in a vice and it aligned the bush squarely in the bracket.
Next up the the small bushing where you need to retain the OE clip, I struggled with this for 20 mins or so, kept dropping the bush and having to fish it out with a pic., then I had a thought. I got a long philips screwdriver, slid the connect bush (black in my case) on to the shaft and held it. I then placed the tip of the driver through the metal cable end loop and dropped the bush. Using a flat blade screwdriver I carefully managed to ease the bush into its new home. This was a real time saver for me so I hope it helps others.
Whilst I had the centre console and mechanism apart, I also performed the "cardboard shim' upgrade which was super easy.
I am very happy indeed.

Well engineered and works great!!

This kit has been invaluable in fixing the early TT's I get through the shop. Just had one where surprisingly all the original bushings were perfect. They still got replaced. These are a maintenance item. When properly adjusted with new parts, these are really nice shifting transmissions. Don't forget about the Perfect Pivot Cable End Inserts!!
