Return Policies

Refund/Return and Claims for Shortage Policies:

We accept returns for exchange or refund for complete products within 30 calendar days after delivery of the product unless otherwise noted on an individual product page. This means we must receive a returned complete product or kit within 30 days of delivery to your address as verified by tracking information. At our sole discretion, after 30 calendar days, we may offer you store credit only which is good for one year after issuance. Complete items and kits returned must be in "brand new, unblemished, unaltered and unused condition". Definition of new, unaltered and unused condition is without showing signs of wear or damage in any way, including the original packaging. You must take great care in packing or adding more packing to ensure safe delivery of parts to us. We cannot overemphasize this. Please seek a professional shipper if you are unsure if a package is going to make it to us with its contents intact. We don't get many returns but we get surprised at how many packages are inadequately packaged for the return trip to us. We will return or refuse packages with shipping damage.

What we require from you for a return:

1. Items are packed very well.

2. All items purchased per SKU/sale item are included in the return shipment. We do not accept partial returns.

2. Returns are received at our shipping center within 30 days after they were delivered to you.

3. Your name or order number appears somewhere on or within the returned package.

Restocking fees: We charge a flat 15% restocking fee on all returned items with the exception of timing kits. Timing belt kits have a 30% restocking fee and will only be accepted if they are unopened. This includes any shipments refused at delivery. This does not including shipping. We do not refund any of the shipping costs nor do we provide return shipping labels for returned goods. Shipping back items will be your responsibility and at your cost. 

All returns must be pre approved by emailing us at in advance of return shipment. 

Damage from Shipping: If an item is received damaged or is incorrectly shipped by us please contact us by email within 3 calendar days. Items that are defective and shipped from us or items that you did not order but received from us will qualify for store credit or a refund to the payment type used in the original transaction. Refunds are contingent upon inspection of item(s) once we receive them. There is a 15% restocking fee for all returned items that are not being exchanged. Again, if you intend to return ANY item back to our store you MUST return all items to us within 30 days of receipt. Items returned to us AFTER 30 calendar days of receipt and WITHOUT contacting us will NOT be refunded. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs if seller is not at fault.

Claims for shortage: All claims for incomplete shipments must be made via email within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of goods. We are extremely careful in using time-tested weighing and kitting systems to preclude shortages. Please save all packaging as we will ask for certain information from the specific packaging you receive. We mark packages with information that let's us know what we put inside.

Claims for non-delivery: All claims for non-delivery of shipments that have a carrier issued delivery date must be made in writing via email within three (3) calendar days of the date the carrier shows delivery. This means you must pay attention to the tracking information and notify us immediately if you believe there has been an error. The spirit of this clause is that in cases where you believe a package has not been delivered, the chances for a successful search for the package is directly related to how long the package was marked as delivered. Please note that we do not provide guarantee of any remedy, replacement or reimbursement for lost packages if they show as delivered. 

International returns: No Tax/Duty/GST/HST/VAT collected at checkout will be refunded under any circumstances after an item leaves our facility. We simply have no way of unwinding these complicated transactions. Returns due to customers from countries lacking free-trade agreements with the USA may be held for up to 45 days to allow any customs charges due to clear. Any additional customs or brokerage charges due on returned goods will be deducted from the value of the return. 

Shipping errors: In the rare instance that we send you an incorrect part, the full extent of our liability will be in sending you the correct part within seven working days of written (emailed) notice of the error. We will also require that the part sent in error be returned to us at our expense. We do not offer refunds for expenses incurred obtaining the parts from a different vendor or for any other incidental expenses. 

Partial Returns: We do not accept returns on partial kits or single pieces of kits. We may elect to offer you a buyback as a goodwill gesture but the price offered will be limited to 50% of our regular retail price. 

Canceled Orders: As of March 1st, 2020, our credit card processors will no longer refund order processing fees when an order is canceled. If orders are placed and then canceled prior to shipping we refund the full amount that we receive on the order including shipping charges. We do not refund transaction fees. If you have questions about fitment or compatibility please contact us prior to ordering.

Refused Deliveries: If you refuse a delivery, a $20 fee will be charged. This is in addition to the 15% restocking fee. If an item is lost on the return trip after a refused delivery then the entire purchase price will be retained by us. Please note that tracking does not work on items returned to sender. Please don't refuse deliveries. 

If the item ships, then the 15% restocking fee will be applied whether you receive the item or refuse delivery from the carrier.
